Converter lock up?

I asked this question in the other section and got no response..Those of you that have unleashed tune, did you have the converter lock up removed in the first 4 gears?
Torrie did it for me when I asked and I have to say it made the acceleration more smooth.. not sure what it will do to the mileage..

What exactly does that accomplish? Just a smoother shift? I'm currently running the Unleashed Torquerules no skip shift 93 octane tune.

Well I’m running the 89 performance tune. No gear skipping at all and I believe he used the shift rpm some. I wanted to remove the lockup up to and including 4th gear as I can feel it going in and out of lock up mostly in 3rd gear..
Shift quality isn’t bad but hoped it to be better. Maybe I’m asking too much.
I’ll ask to see if the torquerules is part of that tune.
so how does yours shift?
