I have only driven a few miles but the initial impression is they ride much better on the road than the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Time will tell how they hold up and they do off road.
I was not pleased with the Nittos on road manners or the fact they did not last long. 20,000 miles with regular rotation.
Although the Discount Tire website shows not available, my local store found some in AZ and had them shipped.

Not sure how I managed to add the a before 285, but it should not be there and I cannot edit it out.

I have a 1.5" leveling kit. After market ADD front bumper which calls for no crash bars. Zero rub at full lock.

I have been buying tires from @Discount Tire for the past 32ish years. They have always been good to buy from and have never given me any grief over a road hazard claim. Last week I bought a set of tires for the wife's Audi A7 and ordered these tires. They prorated both sets which worked out to buying 3 tires and getting the 4th free. So I got 8 tires for the price of 6. Not a bad company to do business with.

The tires look small in the straight on pics but they do actually fill the wheel well out pretty good. They are about .5" shorter than the Nittos and according to the GPS speedo comparison. The speed difference bounces between the same speed or 1 mph slower on the GPS when compared to the truck speedo. I adjusted for tire size using a Hypertech speed calibration tuner for the Nittos. I am not going to adjust for the 1mph difference since it is consistent at all speeds and sometimes dead on.

Please let us know how they are on and off road. What kind of lifetime do you think you will get with them. My problem I have had with Continentals which I have bought a couple of sets is that they seem to ride rough until they get warmed up. Both sets were the same?? They seem to not last any longer than any other tires maybe less? Just my thoughts. Thanks,

Is the rear at stock height?

I will do that tomorrow. I have an aftermarket front bumper so the view likely won't be much help but maybe it will be if you have a non-stock front bumper.

I put about 100 miles on the new shoes today. The ride on the highway compared to the Nittos is way better. No road noise and seem to smooth out the bumps a little better. They handle better also but that stands to reason since they are a much less aggressive tread pattern. Next week I will hit the beach and see if they are acceptable off road. In the sand anyway. The Nittos were great in the sand and I don't expect these to be as good but hopefully they are capable.
