I have seen videos of 5.0 swaps, think there are two companies in different countries doing them. I was thinking the 5.0 would be pretty similar in mpg since it is lighter than the F150.

I am not sure if I am the only one not offended there isn't a USA company doing them lol. I guess this Ranger really belongs to the rest of the world more than the USA market. Now with the new 6G ranger having a TT v6, really no reason for the v8 other than a love for 8 cylinders.

I do it when I go to the dyno to disable the computers control of the tc system, also beneficial for the off-road guys

Why do you take a simple mid size truck to “the dyno”?

Does this do anything different than long pressing the TC button? What else does this disconnect? Already wrecked my truck once, I’d rather not have any more accidents while I own it ?
