Hi all, first post here so if I slip up cut me some slack, lol.
I recently took my ranger in for the issues surrounding the hvac system. My blend door motor went out and was replaced same day. Luckily they didn't need to pull my dash. But after getting my truck back I cycled between my heat and ac maybe 5 times and a loud popping and grinding noise came from my dash and my climate control stopped working again. It sounded just like the first time it happened. I work nights in Colorado so I'm constantly flipping between heating and cooling my truck so the repair lasted maybe 2 days. I plan to take it in again to be fixed but I wanted to see if anyone on here had experienced a similar problem. Specifically getting it fixed once and then needing the same repair again, especially so soon?
Also, my local dealership is telling me that ford is no longer providing loaners and I wanted to know if anyone else had gotten a similar line.
Thanks for any input
