Check Engine Light. Exhaust

Twice the check engine light has come on, twice it has shut off by itself. Everything on the truck is stock except for the transmission pan that I replaced for a larger capacity aluminum one. Any ideas why this is happening? Id appreciate any feedback or advice. Thanks in advance.

The DPFE sensor , just search here , it’s plagued the Ranger.
If you pull the code it will be P139C
