Was leaving a parking lot yesterday and my check engine came on. Checked Ford Pass app and it says “The engine control system has detected the exhaust gas recirculation pressure sensor signal is not as expected when the vehicle is at idle.” Parked and went to check today and the light is gone. Ran an errand and never came back on..

Called the local dealer yesterday but service was closed, and they likely won’t be able to get me in for a few days, and I have a few 100+ km trips I have to do in the next few days.

Anyone have this before? Can I still drive?

You are just fine. Don’t worry about it.

Sounds like a first. My suggestion? Keep driving it until it happens again. If it doesnt happen again then leave it be.

Hiccup, or recurring or impending failure....you'll only know if the light comes back on and stays on. by then you might see the performance issues tied to it
