Mock up for adding gauges. Cheap Wallyworld RCA 7" tablet running Torque Lite, connected with a cheap Bluetooth OBDII scanner. I'm needing more info, specifically oil temp, trans temp, and oil pressure. Looks like I'll need to upgrade to Torque Pro to get the FULL Ford pids...

Cool idea. How do you plan on mounting it?

Not sure yet. You can get a sort of slotted stand to set it in, or maybe use a ram mount? Still working on the software side. If I can't get the gauges I want I won't pursue the mounting problem...

You are out of luck on oil pressure and temp. Our trucks don't have those sensors just an oil pressure switch. Transmission temp not transmission fluid temp is available with the Ford specific PIDs. I also run a boost gauge.

I was using an old phone to display them there, but heat in the front window was an issue with phone battery. I am know displaying them on my SYNC screen using Android Auto with the XDA app. That way my phone stays down but the USB ports, out of sight and cooler.

Super cool can you link me the scanner you used. And did you have to do any work with the intercooler to see the boost gauge or does it work just with bluetooth?

All great info, thank you! I'm checking out XDA asap!

Just a cheap one, but it's working for me so far...
