Changing door code on sync

Has anyone enabled the door code option in the apim to allow you to change the door code from the touchscreen?

Mine asks for the factory unlock code, which I enter from the card that came with the truck and it says it's invalid.

Does this even work or is this only for the door codes on the vertical door frame

I'd be somewhat surprised if it worked, since the keypad is independent of the truck (not hard wired). If you get the keypad replaced, it has a new code--all that stuff is in the keypad itself, not inside the vehicle.
