Very nice. I use my center console way too much for other stuff. I have my Ford branded Console Vault installed under my rear seat. Looks great, and way more room for stuff.

Looks great, my only issue is speed of access in need.
Initially, that was a concern of mine before installing it in the vehicle. This next comment makes about as much difference to the conversation as me saying I once ate at a McDonald's....I am a retired Lt. with the largest Police Dept. in the SE US. Additionally, I was a firearms instructor and a Crime Scene Investigator during that tenure. I do like guns.....I'm pretty well versed in the "need for speed" when responding to a deadly threat. I do recall some of the deceased individuals that were sort of slow in getting to their much-needed weapons. Easy to pick out, as they were the dead ones on the floor. I also always want to ensure the safety of the firearm when it's unattended in the vehicle, hence, the secondary FORD alarm that I am having installed. Yes, I could retrieve the firearm each time I leave the vehicle....But I am in and out of my car 5-10 times a day. Lastly, I can retrieve the firearm in less than 5 seconds from the vault....Every time.....Without looking.....Lastly Lastly, I have never had to shoot anyone, and have only been shot at during the Miami riots! AND, as a last resort, I am pretty sure I can NOW outrun any Tacoma that is in pursuit of me....lol lastly lastly lastly.....NOT FOR EVERYONE.....Like a Tacoma....

To each their own, I have a in vehicle safe also, but only used to store my weapon when entering a building where it is prohibited, otherwise I carry most of the time. Now, I want to know how you dial those tumblers to the correct combo without looking??? Spidy sense? or do you keep the safe unlocked while in the Truck, which I would think you do. I find it restrictive to carry while driving so I have a door holster, and I am left handed :), which works out well.

JesseS, yes, I do leave it unlocked 99.9999999% of the time....And no, no spidey sense, so when I do lock it, I have the 4 digit combo and just leave the last tumbler off by 1 digit, allowing me to open with just that 1 move. I have a wallet holster that I keep in my back pocket for the times that I need to carry.

That would have been my 1st guess but thought as a retired LEO you would know that many people do that, leave either the 1st or last tumbler off by one digit to facilitate opening the lock, saw it many times as an investigator.

And that's why I am having the alarm installed....Besides, it still has the fingerprints on it from the guy I took it from......lol....JUST KIDDING......ANOTHER LOL Lastly, in 30+ years, I never came across someone/anyone spending time ATTEMPTING to open a combination lock in a secured vehicle...Of course, in the areas I worked in Miami, they would just take the whole damn car....

Looks. Like a very tidy install.

I have that exact P380, same finish, nites and I use MagGuts +1 spring and follower, the combination works flawlessly (after maybe 200 rounds of break-in), I use Underwood so-called “+P” and those Lehigh whirling blade bullets, seem to work pretty well. Having said that, it is my pocket carry gun and doesn’t get carried all too often.

I have a safe In the cab that is cabled down and store my carry piece (G43x) in it when I go anywhere guns are prohibited.

I have put somewhere in the "range" of 300 rounds through her, and nary no problem. I seldom have to shoot someone off the 3rd floor of an apartment building....anymore....lol so I do believe it will suffice for the 6-10' for self-defense. AND, at 6' 4" my stride is able to carry me away from just about any problem, whenever possible. It's also great that my new FR can get me out of harm's way, over hills, and through the dells with her off-road capabilities....It has also been my experience that a big mouth in a senseless verbal altercation can get you killed...or arrested.....
