If you have installed a CB where / how dod you mount the antenna? Where did you pick up your Power?

Well I installed mine on a temp bases just for hunting season. I just connected a 12vdc adapter and plugged it directly into one of the dc ports below the radio. Placed the main unit in the center console and ran the coax out the rear window. Antenna mounted to my tool box so I didn't have to mount to the rear of the Ranger. Ran it from November until last week with no issues. Had no grounding issues and perfect range and clarity.

I highly doubt that I will do a permanent install. Looking at the pathway through the firewall looks difficult or tedious at best. There are a few people here that have installed the harness for the power trough the left side body grommet, but said it was a pain. Same went for the coax to back bed. I believe one person fished it behind the upper rear seat and through the body grommet and then on to the bed of the truck.
