I never heard of and it just looked it up, looks like a fun time. It's a little to far for me this year and we're already going away the last week of July.

Ya you might be too deep in the desert to have ever heard of this not so well known event that's been taking place for decades and attracts people/rides from the other side of world...just not Arizona... ?

Hi Folks,

Back story on the Dream Cruise. I had been divorced for about a year and (ug!) back in the dating scene. Most on line... Not going well, until I met Margie who contacted me. She lived in Troy Mi in a condo (now our condo) about 2 miles from Woodward. So we dated and it was great. We were still in dating mode when she wanted to go the the Dream Cruise as being a car nut, I could explain many of the cars cruising. We walked the two miles to this little patch of grass by the curb and pitched our umbrella chairs. This Mustang drove by, windows down and a big wave and shouted my name...Then another old hot rod...shouting my name. This continued on and off for the next 30 or so minutes...Margie was astounded I knew quite a few cruisers... Then this really weird bus..sort of retro pulled up and the side extended down to make a ramp and my friend Jim B from a prototype shop, Carron was driving this prototype bus and invited us on the bus for a ride, so collapsed our chairs and joined Jim on the cruise...Margie was just bowled over. After a few laps, Jim dropped us off where we were sitting. It would be several months later, but Margie finally shared that that event really impressed her. We were married about six months later... Love the Cruise!!!
