Can you help me out with CB radio mount ideas?

I just got a CB radio to add to my truck for off-road communication use. The thing is, I don't want to drill into my dash to mount it and end up being left with unsightly holes down the road if the CB radio is pulled from the truck for any reason. What have you guys done? thanks!

When I was driving over-the -road delivery, I used self adhesive velcro strips to mount my radio in my truck. Attach one side to the dash and one to the radio. Although I'm not sure how well that would hold up to off-roading. The only problem is you have to watch when you try to remove the strips it may damage your dash. Didn't have to worry about that in my truck due to it being a hard plastic dash.

I might see if I can do that to the inside of the center console.
