Can we stop linking to Ranger6g?

not to be a jerk ... but is it a bit annoying to anyone else that we have several 6g threads pop up lately?
i know new generations of cars and trucks can be exciting and fun talk about. however, i feel like most of our 5g trucks are still pretty new. besides, ranger 6 g is where the 6g stuff should be right?

Truthfully Mark, it doesn't bother me much. I created a log in on 6G and find most posts to be interesting; although I have no plans to purchase an new Ranger. I'm happy with the 2020 I have.

I find them interesting. The 5G has been on the market long enough now that some people will be selling theirs for something new. The 5G is not the newest, neatest truck on the market anymore.

i like to see what they sell the 5g for. some of the ones sans 5g have had issues with them so i dont blame them for moving on. I like mine a lot but totally honest if I was not stuck in it and had the cash to just move on i might do the same. The transmission issues are really frustrating esp to have such low miles.

I’m still waiting on the insurance company to tell me if my Tremor is totaled. If it is that might be the thing that pushes me to “upgrading” to a 6G.

So yeah, I appreciate the 6G threads.

With only a 4 year run and limited aftermarket support this forum will linger but not thrive. Even our favorite moderator is looking for a 6g Raptor.

That said still happy with my 2019 and mods, also my extended warantee, high resale value, items such as led headlights and such no longer available on my paid off truck!!!??

IMO, the 6G doesn't offer enough change in comparison to my paid off '21 XLT to want one. It should be called 5.5G (maybe even 5.25) , at best.

That would be expected . A Ford ranger forum with sub-forums would be better from a traffic standpoint.

There is a 6g forum for that.
I bought an unlimited mileage/lifetime warranty for mine. Unless it gets stolen or totaled I plan to use the hell out of said warranty.

I agree, I’m here for 5G content, I don’t own a 6G and hopefully never will. They’re an eyesore.
