I forgot that the factory splash guards have a molded profile matching the flares, so of course they won't line up with the new flare profile.
Now I am wondering if the Weathertech (no drill) mud flaps would work with these flares.

I don’t think they would either, they are moulded to fit the factory profile as well. You’d likely have to go with something universal and flat.

Those look infinitely better than the bolt-on look ones. Do you have a straight-on picture that shows how much the stick out? On the bolt-on flares the overhang looks really stupid from the front. I wish someone would make a smooth style that tapers slightly in the front to better match the bumper, but these look to be not as noticeable. Between your grill, wheels, and flares, your Ranger is starting to look probably as close as it can to a Raptor Ranger without replacing body panels. Looks great! I want to do almost the exact same thing and maybe also add the Air Design side vents.
These smooth flares look better than the other option, but still stick out too far where the flare meets the front of the fender. This makes me sad. If I remember correctly, RK Sport will have smooth flares that taper inward properly for sale soon. In the Ranger 5G FB group, a dude has posted a few photos and they look good.

Do you have a link to the pics ? I looked at the 5g and RK pages, but didn't see anything :frown:

It’s on the “2019+ Ford Ranger Club USA” Facebook Page. I tried posting a link, but I guess since the group is private it wouldn’t work. They look good, but I’m not a fan of fiberglass.

I'm not trying to thread jack here, but I'll see if this pic will work for ya. The FB group is called 2019+ Ford Ranger Club USA and the dude posting the pics is Cesar Gracida. They will have fiberglass and carbon fiber flares.

Cross posting this from my build thread in case people don't peruse that section - I installed my Bushwacker OE-Style smooth finish fender flares today. I went with the thinner version that I haven't seen elsewhere yet and I'm quite pleased. They truly do look almost OEM. Here's the set I got in case anyone is interested - https://www.bushwacker.com/bushwacker-20955-02-oe-style-fender-flares-front-and-rear

What do you guys think?

I'll also have an install video up soonish. :sunglasses: EDIT: Video is up!
