Please could you develop and explain what that Ford tune was exactly? (a link to product page with specs would be awesome). Did it improve the MPG? I was of the impression that once it's done, it's not recommended to use regular unleaded (87) anymore.

Asking as I might be interested to get it done.

91 octane requirement. Getting 19ish town (lots of starts and stops). 24 mpg hwy.

Dang that price is so much better than the $800 MSRP for the tune. How did the shift points change? Hate how numb it feels in drive. Sport is better but I feel like there is a delay in acceleration even there, not talking about turbo lag either.

Red trim comes as part of the Tremor pkg. And the red tow hooks are ford performance parts that I added. Letters came from Tufskinz.

Levittown has incredible prices on most parts and is very hard to beat. I buy from them or use their prices to get better deals from my local dealer. My Ranger now gets more torque at far lower rpm so now it has way more initial burst. Further it shifts far more smoothly now throughout all speeds. This is how the Ranger should've been set up to begin with, but probably wasn't due to it requiring 91 octane. The ecoboosts perform so much better on 91 octane anyway, so I'd been using 91coctane anyway so it didn't affect me to have to use it with the tune. They rate a non-tuned ecoboost for 87 octane, but turn around and say 91 would be better and it is so this didn't change anything for me to need it for the tune.

It performs and shifts significantly better and gets better mpg especially on the hwy now. The smoother shift pattern and power from a stop is far better now and well worth the expense to me.

Thanks for the info, that was what I hoped. I use 91 all the time on all our vehicles so it is not much of a change other than initial purchase.

Only concern is I also tow and in Vegas we are in the 100F+ summer season lol. Debating on waiting till fall or just get the tune now and radiator at the same time. Waiting till fall buys me time to see how the truck temps do while towing.
