Are you honestly broke/fallen on hard times AND your truck is bucking because that EGR thing has gone to hell?

I have one with 25k that wasn't causing bucking when removed; just the truck wasn't running as smooth- but didn't notice until the new one went on.

I didn't throw it away - will delete this if I do.

That said; if you are genuinely broke/dont have money to fix that stupid problem and just want something to hold you over until you can get a new one...

PM me and I'll send it free to the lower 48.

Part Number: LB5Z-9J433-B EGR Vacuum Control Assembly. Hoses, etc are in good shape. One clamp is a bit scratched up as I had to fight with it a bit to get the freaking pliers on it.... turned stupid from the factory.

Note: The assembly is ... almost or 80ish with shipping. The sensor bit itself is pretty cheap. However, cheap doesn't really mean the same thing to someone who is out of work, etc.

I didn't go out with a sign that says Wytch because its free but I swear that thing is in my garage.. I do need to go grab the box before the wife tosses it out....

Leaving the forum but keeping emails going for this... maybe someone will need it someday. It's not taking up much space. It should be around until next year when I plan to move.

So. PM or reply here and I'll see the email and come back to ship or drop it off.

5th gear went from mildy annoying to a real problem. Ford wasn't gonna help. So... I got more on trade with the trans issue than I paid for it 2 years and 28k miles ago (counting the small trade in value - ignoring taxes etc).

Got something with better gas mileage and way more leg room for the kids. In a cross over SUV now; 24 Tuscon SEL. (It even came either a damper). Love this thing in Houston traffic as it drives itself in that situation.

Enjoy the new ride, sorry Ford could not address your issues with ease.
Sad, the next owner will inherit the same issues unless the dealer corrects it before reselling.

They didn't but the next person has more of a chance to get this fixed. I couldn't have played dumb about the tune. I should have fought harder to fix the issue when it was very minor and called normal THEN tune it.

Loving the new ride. My back is going to buy me a Christmas gift for switching. Kids love it. So much better on fuel and the dual fuel systems mean i can run cheap 87 and not worry as my intake valves are being cleaned as i drive. Sounds so much better on throttle even if it's much slower than the Ranger. Just lost the bed I used a lot in year one and then didn't need it anymore.

On the part. I'll get an email if someone replies here or PMs me. I'll still help out a Ranger owner who doesn't want to buck down the road and doesn't have much cash. That or just wants to test to see if that is the issue. Price of shipping only (or I may cover depending on the situation).

I did love the little truck. Really not regretting moving on at the same time. I am happy to help someone else that needs it and I don't want to throw away a mostly working part. It was just a bit less smooth.. not bucking. I proactively changed mine.
