Looks great Dave
Patiently awaiting my new gauge (below) as I couldn't find one with a blue pointer. Now that it's in the dash, I wish I would rotate the gauge slightly towards to the drivers seat, But the 52mm gauge can only go in straight, there is no extra room and it's serves it's purpose.

how did you hook up the gauge? Level of skill required?

I don't have my gauge connected (yet) as I am going to swap it out this week when my new one comes. Power goes to Fuse 35 right below the gauge which is a keyed source, key on = light on. Ground is right at the folding mirrors but could pull that from any ground source. The boost line will need to go through the firewall, but there is a factory location beneath the brake booster (gromit). typical boost hose is flexible, you want a small piece of hardline at the gromit so it doesn't get smashed. Pretty much the same with any turbo car. You will need to run the hose to the intake manifold (after the throttle body) where it can measure boost and vacuum. I'll snap some pics this week when my gauge comes in.

I did the same thing with my Audi TT. The Ford vent comes apart very nicely, there are no screws and just a bunch of very flexible tabs separate the layers. You remove the factory vents, pop in your printed piece and reassemble. The dash piece just pops off, pull around the cluster to get the first one unconnected. Then the rest go easy.

Well my new gauge came today, and to my surprise it is electronic (with a transducer), Which means the vacuum hose/boost hose stays in the engine compartment and all I to do is run 3 little wires through the firewall. Now to find a "Boost Gauge Tap", I don't really want to drill a hole, or cut a oem part. I found a Billet part that looks like it will work for $34, waiting to hear back from the manufacture.

I'm sorry but any value for something as critical to the life of the engine as oil pressure and temp, that is not an actual reading, is bogus. It is no better and probably worse than an idiot light. Especially if you are using it for towing.
Hi guys. I don't know if anyone will find this information relevant at this point, as the thread is kind of old, but there is an Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Sensor on the engine. There is also an Oil Pressure Control Solenoid, so I think there is some fancy electronic pressure control going on here. Maybe due to Auto-Start/Stop function? I have not done any additional research into the oiling system, but here is a location diagram showing the component location. (Item 3 and 4) If interested I can tell you the Diagnostic codes that can possibly be thrown due to sensor problems.

Darn. I already used Fuse 35 for a jumper for my wireless phone charger!

You can have multiple circuits on there (just like in a house), Depending on the gauge it's just running a back light (LED) so I doubt that it's even pulling 100 ma of current. The gauge I got has some circuitry to do a LED boost meter and is a electronic but judging from the wire gauge it's not pulling much. (If I like this gauge I'm going to put one in my other turbo car as well).

I bought this from CP-E, it's listed for the Ecoboost Mustang but it works just fine on the Ranger. Allows you to make your connection without cutting any of the factory lines.

Thank You, I saw that one but was looking at this. I haven't even looked under my hood, so I'm not sure it will work. I am waiting to hear back from the company. And since I am using a boost gauge with a transducer the plumbing will be pretty short.

I called Torque Solutions and they haven't tested it on a Ranger so were not sure of the fitment. Shipping is $23 to me, which makes for a spendy TEST piece.

Threw my gauge in... It does the needle sweep when powered on and if the need was blue it would be perfect. My Boost Tap shipped and will be here next week, hopefully it fits. The digital and analog all in one gauge looks great

The display is well let and you can select from all the typical LED colors.

The location looks good but idk if I would get past it pointing offset from your sight line like that
