Hey, what's with the garage full of crap and the Ranger getting buried outside?
Jumped the shark on winter being over. Building stairs in the back to go to the attic. Nothing easy man, you know that! 😏

Looks like Rhode Island had the most snow and some were records for that area.

37.9" at the Warwick airport. The yearly average amount of snow is 36.6 inches.
36" in Warwick & Providence

Parts of NY & NJ got 30" and some in eastern MA (Whitman, Dartmouth & Westport) got 33".

Just seeing these pictures makes me happy I'm not there anymore. lol Brings back a lot of memories thought some good and some bad. I'll take our weather here which will be in the mid 80's the next 3 days. By the weekend it'll be 88 which is a little too warm for this time of the year but better than the snow and cold!:tumbleweed:

Lot's of wind and snow drifts from this one.

I'll take this any day over heat. Do you see any bugs or snakes in these pictures 😅. Soon the best time of the year will start. We call it mud season when everything melts 😳. Enjoy your perpetual summer.

Luckily everyone's different or there'd be a whole bunch more people here. :sun::tumbleweed:

Not down here I'm at 3,000' and even when it does get hot (maybe 3 months here) it's already cooling off by 7pm. It was 51 this morning and will be a high of 82 and by 7pm it'll already be down to 70. Unlike the Phoenix area where it was still 106 at 10pm.🥵 I honestly dealt with more bugs up in MA from the ticks, mosquitoes, flys and horse flys, gnats and then there's the yard critters. The moles would destroy my yard and I'd put down all the fertilizer there was to kill the grubs and they'd still come back. No mower, weed wacker. leaf blower, snow shovel or snowblower needed so there's a huge savings there too. Just a broom and a dustpan. lol

I'd much rather be in shorts 24/7/365 then bundled up. My truck stays clean and I never have to worry about anything rusting or my house having mold issues. This has been an unusual warm winter here but this is the first time in my life I've never had to turn the heat on all winter.

To each their own. I love the 4 seasons we get in New England. Age is changing that. Major health issues made me reflect on what I like, what I can do, what the future holds (through my crystal ball) and where does that put me? If I have a full blown stroke, after already having a TIA, how will that effect my ability to cut/stack/move firewood? Move snow? Navigate snow/ice for 4ish months? Dom I want to expend my time/energy/health on just surviving? My plan was to stay in New England the rest of my days. Health has changed things. Searching South Carolina for year rental, before we decide on final living area.

Everyone has to do what's best for them. The best thing you can do was rent in the area you're thinking of moving to for at least a couple of months. Go during the worst season and live like you normally do back home. That's what we did last summer here and wished I had followed my own advice when moving to AR. But I was so sick of the heat and traffic up in Phoenix I needed to get out of there ASAP!

The only season I miss back east is fall. I miss the trees changing colors and the cool, crisp nights and warm days but that never lasted long and it only meant winter was around the corner. Then there's the humidity! I hate having swamp @$$ while just sweating standing in one place and not even moving. I thought it would be different being retired but I honestly didn't care for it at all during the short time we spent in Arkansas.

The low humidity is great here and really helps if you have arthritis or any other joint issues. Right now it's 24% and by the end of the day it'll be down to 10%. So when it's in the mid to upper 90's you can still go outside and enjoy it because you're not drenched in sweat. You just have to make sure you stay hydrated because you're still sweating, it's just evaporating before you see/feel it.

We’re getting hammered around Foxboro MA. Will get some pictures later. All our windows are covered from wind blown snow so you can’t see out! 😆. The heavy wet sticky stuff. Haven’t measured yet as it’s still coming down. I figure 18” to 2’ somewhere. Driving bans so Ranger is parked and buried too.
Foxboro..I’m from Marlboro !

It’s actually spelled, MARLBOROUGH ..
I know, and what's really messed up is the way they spell Foxboro.

Should be the same as Marlborough and they're only around 30 miles apart.🤦‍♂️
