Hey folks,
My truck was side-swiped on my way home from work yesterday morning and the passenger tail light was damaged along with the quarter panel - everything else was, thankfully, unscathed. In fact, the tail light works and has no damage with the exception of the red lens popped off on the highway and is gone.
Ergo, my question: Who here has tried, or thinks that I could purchase the non-BLIS tail light and put my BLIS module into it, saving me the approximately $400 difference (which is the cost of the stand-alone module). I've pulled the diagram for the tail lights and see that the BLIS module can be purchased separately which leads me to believe it might be possible, but I can't be sure the non-BLIS tail lights have that cavity open for a module.
I'm open to practical suggestions on saving money.
@LevittownFordParts.com, would y'all have some insight into this dilemma?
Thanks
