My 2020 XLT has factory remote start as well. I use it every day about 6-months out of the year. A low battery will keep the remote start from working. My battery died after two years of ownership. No real indication the battery was going either just sometimes the remote start would not work...
I have a 20 and my battery died yesterday morning with no warning. I suspect I just had a factory lemon. I will be trying to reset the BMS system after reading this post. I would have never thought about that, but I am having no problems after replacement.
While not a difficult job, changing...
Rule out a restriction in the cabin air filter. When you hear the noise turn the AC off and see what happens. I have a chirp that goes away when I turn off the AC. Pretty sure I need to replace the Cabin Filter. Good luck to you!
I recommend you hit the bay. You know what the BLISS taillight looks like. Start a dialog with the seller and maybe let him/her pull the bliss module and just sell you the shell?
Or the squeal of an intake valve dropping into a cylinder at 8K sounding exactly like a mortally wounded animal until the RPM's drop low enough to bring the piston destroying squeal down to a horrible clattering noise that eventually leads to complete engine lockup. At least he oil pressure was...
I loved the Super Bee! I would have gotten one as my first car but I could not afford a new one. Asked a dealer about getting a used one and he told me there were no used Super Bee's, only new ones and those that had been crashed by teenagers.
So it is not significantly smaller and I would not consider it. Ford is coming out with a small truck, the Maverick. I did not like the specs on that one. It will not impact Ranger sales.
I love my truck and will not be getting rid of it. I am aware I am on a Ranger forum. Even thought I love it, I think the Ranger is a little too big and the Frontier looks to be smaller. If this was out there when I purchased my truck, after a good test drive, I might have went with it. This...
1984 - 1993 US ARMY MP. Seven Years in Germany. Deployed during operation Desert Shield/Storm with the 1st Armor Division, 501st MP company. Would not go back for any reason, and would not change a thing. Had a great time and loved shooting all the guns.
Yelled at my wife and 13 year old grandson for doing this all weekend. Feel like an ass, and was thinking I am just being too sensitive. Maybe it is the doors that are making them do it.
My bet is on the upper Shock Mount. Much more common is the front strut rubbers and bearings, but a squeaky rear shock is possible. I think it will be hard to make a big enough change to hear the squeak just by shaking the truck. Maybe a couple of people bouncing in the back?
