Sorry to break the rules of the thread But to keep on topic of stock wheels Magnetics are best on white Rangers IMO.

Thanks! Trim is black from factory being a base XL truck. One advantage of being cheap in this case, haha...

Off topic, but hell its my thread! is the lower bumper valance (lower center piece of the bumper) painted or just black plastic?

Black plastic, not painted. So no getting chipped paint or anything like that.

Thats EXACTLY what I was thinking. Rather than paint my silver one and have silver chips show up, buy a black plastic one.

In optics, yes. But in function, nope! the bed comes out much too much. I ruined my machined ones after just 4 months using the truck for what it is made for. rocks hit the wheel and this was it…

And, as any "good ole hotrodder" knows, chrome will make your truck go faster.
Depending on how much chrome, a 10% to 75% increase in "butt horsepower gains" will be immediately noticed.

Well when I bought my truck I had the option to buy a 2wd version of my truck (also white). I saw how much the Magnetics stuck out and was worried about rock damage and the occasional curb encounter. One big scuff will be very noticable. Machined will hide it a bit.
I don't get the plastidip craze, but maybe I need to look into this as an option.

Saw a white Ranger SuperCrew just the other day with looked to be a 2” lift and bronze aftermarket wheels w/ slightly larger than OEM tires. Stance was spot on and the bronze wheels looked better than I would have imagined. It passed me at slow speed so couldn’t see the brand. Looked to be (or similar) to Icon COMPRESSION / BRONZE

But I do like those also!
Main reason I didn't go black (keeping in mind rule # 1 ?) is that the stock black wheels are glossy and the design itself was not that appealing to me.
