OK, I will bite, what does color 'temperature' (ie color spectrum) have to do with rain, snow or fog??
Quite simple actually and proven. Light that is more white and blue(6000k and up) will be reflected back at you and will not "cut through" the adverse weather. Light that is closer to the yellow and amber(3000k and below) will not reflect back and give you better sight in the extreme adverse weather.

Now you might be wondering how i know this. Well I have already experienced it here in Colorado in quite a few snow storms and to say the least it isn't fun. All the Auxito lights everyone is recommending are 6500k and in Rain, Snow and fog the light will be reflected right back at you.

Retired, work is a four letter word.

Try flicking on your halogen to high beam in fog or snow and see if you don't get serious back scatter. I would rather have properly adjusted LED lights than amber low power ones. In any case in bad snow and fog (read can't see the lane markers) it is better to turn off your low beams and run on parking and a good set of fog lights that shine down low and under. Drove in Germany many years and their fog is second only to London. Many people have the Axito LED's and like them, and they don't seem to bother oncoming drivers, yours seems to be the lone dissenting voice. I emailed them to ask about using them and the reply was their bulbs are designed to fit 1:1 in halogen housings with the same beam pattern, but I was cautioned to adjust them to my local requirements.

I should also mention that I learned through trial and error which is why I do not recommend dropping LEDs with a high color temp for those especially I have to deal with inclement weather like heavy snow rain and fog. And regardless what all the LED headlight bulb manufacturer State there is not a single LED light designed for a OEM replacement in a reflector housing that came with halogen lights. The only way LEDs could be considered okay in a reflector housing as if the housing itself was designed for an LED but then again those LEDs would not be replaceable by themselves either.
