Quite simple actually and proven. Light that is more white and blue(6000k and up) will be reflected back at you and will not "cut through" the adverse weather. Light that is closer to the yellow and amber(3000k and below) will not reflect back and give you better sight in the extreme adverse weather.OK, I will bite, what does color 'temperature' (ie color spectrum) have to do with rain,snow or fog??
Now you might be wondering how i know this. Well I have already experienced it here in Colorado in quite a few snow storms and to say the least it isn't fun. All the Auxito lights everyone is recommending are 6500k and in Rain, Snow and fog the light will be reflected right back at you.
