Belltech lowering kit install (1043SP)

Looking for a softer ride. I have installed the Belltech lowering kit on my 2019 Ranger Lariat 4x4.
This is a street vehicle only. I live in Denver so the 4x4 is only for the winter snow season.
I find the ride with the Belltech struts/shocks way too harsh so I'm looking for replacements for the Belltech stuff. The strut/shock dimensions are:
Front Struts: extended 18.5 “, collapsed 14.37”
Rear Shocks: extended 18.5”, collapsed 12.0”

Before you replace too much, you may need to modify your bump stops. In the front, my truck was essentially running on the bump stops after the drop. Not thrilled that Belltech hadn't accounted for this. I ended up cutting about 75% of the material out and it is MUCH better and I've had no real issues with harsh bottoming out. I did similar to the rear (removed about 50% of the stops), but one of my rear shocks needed replacing so I bought a set of QA1s. This helped and the truck is better. If I were to do it again, I'd do a different coilover system in the front, but couldn't find anything out there at the time.

If you are interested in the rear QA1s, I can look into the model number I bought. I had to return the first set I got as they didn't fit (length) properly.

Yes, please post the QA1 rear shock part number.
I would still like to find adjustable struts for the front end. Just have to keep looking.

Thank you! I have the red and gold ones from Belltech but they just make them too long. I’m either making a custom upper mount for more travel or I’ll make brackets and run Vikings or Ridetech ones.

I have the same issue with the front Belltech coilovers. I would like to replace mine with adjustable units. So far I have not found any that fit. Any suggestions about parts would be appreciated.

I ordered the QA1-TS709 through Summit Racing. Note that I did the 5" drop option in the rear. The QA1 shocks have different lengths and you'd want to be aware of lengths if you did a different lowering option. I had originally ordered the QA1-TS504, but they were slightly too short by about 1.5".

I’ll be making a kit eventually but in the meantime, Freak ride has a kit that works well. It has adjustable Vikings.

I am very interested in this lowering kit. How much do you think a suspension shop would charge to install? I am also curious if someone makes more of a "leveling" shackle that only lowers the rear 1-2 inches instead of raising the front.

The shackles do not lower, they raise the suspension. I’d say 8-10 hours is probably a good labor time. I can do it a little faster than that but it’s a bit of work.

I had a shop install my lowering kit, Belltech 1044SP With a 2/4 drop. Expect to pay approximately $1,000 for the install and alignment.
Mind you, although my truck is lowered, my rear end is still slightly raised compared to the front, so I can still tow.
