Patrick I feel like I'm making this comment more and more these days which is a sign of the times, the trucks are getting older and original members are moving on.

BUT - do stick around. We don't care what you drive. Bronco's kick ass. I hope you enjoy it and I hope that you have many healing miles behind the wheel of it. RIP to your wife and certainly she would want you to be happy. Hope to see you posting on here more.

Thanks for the condolences. My advice if you are in a decades long marriage and you are still each others best friends is... be selfish...die first.
As for pictures:

About the transmission, I don't know what they did between the 2021 Ranger version and the 2025 Bronco version, but SO much better.
Been going casually off highway in this area since 2016. First with a 2007 Explorer Sport Trac AWD, Then a 2018 Nissan Frontier, the Ranger, and now the Bronco.
Each was a step up; Frontier to Ranger a big step, but after only 10 or so miles off pavement, night and day better. LT315/75R 17 tires might be why, I don't know. Short overhangs are a big help.
Just much calmer, smoother, more competent feel on washboard, deep ruts, deep sand, and crappy side by side trails. I haven't put it in AWD or 4x4 yet, much less locked either axle.
I know there will be times I wish I had the P/U bed but I still have my Transit.

First of all, so sorry to hear about your wife.

Second of all, I love your Bronco, especially the color.

Lastly, I completely agree with your advice. I've told my wife of 37 years I'm definitely going first. I got a lot in my favor: I'm 4 years older and men have a shorter lifespan to start with.

Wishing you the best. Do your best to carry on and enjoy life.

Paul

I am sorry for your loss I am hitting 42 years married to my wife this month and 57 years knowing her in September and can't imagine life without her.
I also just traded my 29 Ranger for a Bronco and do love the new ride but this is a much friendlyer forum In my opinion. A bunch of helpful people here. So I plan to stay around here some.
This is my 22 Big Bend in Area 51.

I wish to add my condolences of the passing of your wife. I lost mine in January 2018, four days short of our 48th anniversary. It is certainly tough at first but time passage helps. Stay busy.
