I am trying to install the rails and the back clamp won’t meet the metal of the bed.

I’ve included a pic to show where it lands once tightened.
Did I get the wrong brackets?

I did have a whim between the plastic cap and metal of the bed and it did the same thing.(This was an easier spot for the picture)

Here is a pic of my MX4 rail clamp, took a quick pic of rear clamp on the passenger side. You need a third hand to push up on the clamp as you begin to tighten the clamp and I used one or two pieces of the spacer material between the two pieces of metal.

Comparing your clamp to mine. Your back one(that holds the nut) seems to be taller. And the base part longer. ??
Did I get the wrong clamps

Give Backflip customer service a call tomorrow to confirm, are all of the clamps you have the same?

I had to grind off about 1/16” of the clamps to make it work. Then it was perfect.
