Never feel that you have to drive beyond your comfort level with the situation because somebody behind you is trying to bully you beyond it; 4 wheels or 18. 99.999% of rear end crashes are the fault of the rear vehicle. Like a marathon, you drive your own pace. If they come up behind you close, it's best to maintain your own pace and avoid sudden moves, they'll eventually go around. You are more likely to have a spinout or more serious crash driving above what you think is safe than getting rear ended.
Be alert for a temporary white out condition as semis overtake you as they kick up a wake of snow.

Semi driver will get the ticket and you will get a nice funeral.

I mean, you can slowly coast down. No one is saying you have to lock your brakes.
