Pistol length upper with pistol brace- and somehow you get rifle from that? Why would anyone put a PISTOL brace on a rifle lower. They only go on PISTOL lowers.

There is no physical difference between a pistol lower and a rifle lower. Only the designation.

People do it all the time. In order to avoid the hassle/cost of buying a new lower. Creating themselves an inadvertently illegal SBR.

Your post seemed to suggest doing this, as we were talking about the OP's pictured RIFLE. Apparently that wasn't the case. Not a big deal.
