AWE or MRPB?

Looking to add an exhaust system prior to a tune and I've narrowed it down to AWE and MRPB.
I want to keep it under a thousand dollars and these two seem to be quality and my price.
The AWE is more money but I found it around $900.00 at 5 star, MRPB can be had for I think $700-800 at Stage 3.
Any opinions on either?

I really like MBRP, sound, looks, etc. unless you have a downpipe…. Then it’s not so great.

I can't speak for brands other the MBRP, because I've never had them on the vehicle. I have the MBRP 3" single exit S5227BLK that I got from Stage3 on sale for a hair under $500 when it was on sale a few months back. I really like it. At first it seemed jarringly loud hearing a cold start in the winter, but once idle was achieved it sounds great. I am now about 1,500 miles on it and it sounds great and I like it. Rumbly when you want it to be, and is relatively quiet when 10th gear is achieved.

Neither. Dollar for dollar an exhaust is a rip off for performance numbers.

If you are after a sound or tone, just replace the factory muffler.

In my opinion, which is usually to the point and ill received, unless you replace the flow of air all the way through the system, then adding just one single component to open the flow is nothing more than an exercise in spending money on paltry gains.
