The bed is a place for other things like my Drawers, Fridge and other camping stuff. For sleeping arrangements? I have a Australian Swag Tent by Crashpad that I use. Yes it is a ground tent, but it is versatile. Besides the vehicle I have it with now, I can easily load it in another person's vehicle and head out with them and have my own place to sleep. It also stores easily at the house. Just an option to consider
