It’s not a big deal at all, I finally scheduled it to see the doctor (dealer) but my traction control on/off button has never worked. Anyone else had this issue? Can’t remember every hitting the button until after I did the Ford Performance tune on my truck at 1500 miles. Forgot about it until the latest track day last weekend and she was pulling power because it was spinning a bit even in 4wd with 33’s. Surely it’s not the tune…

Even with traction control AND AdvanceTrak disabled the truck will still shut down the fun via RSC if you're not in sand mode.

Assuming you were talking about pavement, I wanna see a dyno sheet. If you're spinning 33"s in 4wd it should be QUITE impressive.

Made mine work two weeks ago. It is a full two second push to engage and light. Roll forward for a bit, turn a little, it will engage, accelerate enough to test.

Hold it for a full 10 seconds or until the display says AdvanceTrak Off. Wouldn't use it like that in the wet or winter. That back end gets squirrelly AF.

You can hold it for a week and nothing shuts off. The button does nothing. No lights. Nothing.

Yup. Sounds broken or just never plugged in...

Apparently you've never driven something "nasty."

I'm sure it's quick. But you are not spinning all 4 in 4wd with that tune.

Guessing from my experiences it seems to want to interfere at about 20-25⁰ of angle.

It also seems to do a good job of interfering slowly. It doesn't allow weight to transfer too quickly, which would snap you back the other way.

But Sand mode, with AdvanceTrak off, and the locker on, make for good times in a low traction situation.

It does it with ease on e30. The FP tune barks em. Truck is nasty for what it is for sure. I also refuse to get in a pissing contest with you on what I’ve driven.

So you guys have driven a Ranger on a e30 tune with full bolt ons? Just asking. My tires are 8 ply 33x12.50r17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT’s with 2k miles on them.
