There’s a lot of talk about heated mirrors - I ‘ve never had that feature on any vehicle and I’ve lived in different places from coast to coast here in the Great White North. I’ve never seen the need for mirrors to be heated but I’ve always had a garage.

So, I’m genuinely curious - do the folks wanting this typically park outdoors?

I park in the garage. Lately, we seem to be getting more ice around here than snow. Yesterday morning while going to work, it was foggy and misty and all that moisture collects on the mirrors. With heat, they clear up really quick.

Also heated glass is available on the '23 with 302a Package... That makes me think it was available on previous years, some of y'all just decided not to get it...

Press releases said it was in the 302A package but it wasn't.

My truck has everything available on an XLT and the mirrors aren't heated.

But for some reason, the near-verticle rear window that never sees an accumulation of anything is indeed heated. ?

Drainage is not an issue when you build on permafrost - it’s in our building code.

I have 2019 xlt with 302A Package and I am very pleased with what I have. After reading everything about later models l think I lucked out with upgrades and so forth. I Love My Ranger

I just wish my truck was a 301a instead of a 300a. The plastic steering wheel kinda sucks and I really wanted the grey bumpers and nicer wheels. My budget didn't cover a new truck with the options I wanted, though, so I had to settle for a used one with the really important options. (FX4 and tow package.)
