I'm about 2.5 years in now with a SnugTop Rebel (pics and info here). Mostly happy so far. I've carried about 125 lbs of kayaks on the roof on multi-hour trips, no issues there. I DEFINITELY recommend getting the side "windoors". It's incredibly helpful to be able to access items through the windows.

Two complaints:

The pistons on the rear window blew out within the first year (the window is spring loaded, so now if you pop it open it will just rocket open if you let go).

The screws holding the LED strip light to the ceiling stripped out, I had to epoxy them back up.

Otherwise, been great. No leaking (though I think that's largely due to the installation—definitely would recommend going with a locally owned business vs a chain. The topper will only be as good as its install).

I'm pretty happy with my Softopper. I can have it folded in under a minute if I need to use the truck bed for oversized items.
Down side is you need a rack if you want to carry anything on the top. But even then, it's still cheaper than a fiberglass cap.
