Any feedback on Ford Accessory Ranger Seat covers by CoverKing? 2019-23 Front Capts Seat Covers in Charcoal Twill

I have searched the forum and found several people that bought these and there were multiple comments about how baggy/loose they were originally. Per the instructions they if you soak them in water with some salt then wash them they smooth out and improve. I messaged both people that posted them but never got a reply, was looking for some feedback to decide if I return them (ordered with the Dec 20% of Ford Accessory discount) or go ahead with the water soak/wash if they were ok after that.

Certainly someone out there has purchased these... Anyone? My 23 Ranger won't deliver for another 10 days or so but was looking for feedback sooner rather than later to decide whether to send them back if others had a bad experience with them.

I don't have experience with those seat covers but I can highly reccomend getting Marathon seat covers. I have had 4 sets and every one was spot on and not much more $$ than those.

Updates, FINALLY got the 23 Ranger XL last friday. I soaked and washed the seat covers per the instructions and put them on today. they are supposed to settle in and conform better over time but so far I'm not thrilled with them so far. On the upside they feel very durable, almost canvas or carhart like, don't interfere at all with the side airbags (which I wanted), and have storage pockets on the backs of the seats.

What other seat cover options did you guys order and like better than these?

I bought the Covercraft Carhartt Precision Fit ones through Stage3Motorsports. I like them a lot. I had a bad seam on the seat back cover initially, which Covercraft took care of.

Excuse the shadows on the seats. Those aren’t ripples in the fabric. I’ll try to take a better picture tomorrow, if we ever see the sun again.

I bought my truck used. However, it came with Catskinz leather covers installed. In my case, it was done very professionally - they look and feel like comfier factory leather seats. Super snug, really well done. I doubt the prior owner did them DIY.

Will be a few before I could a pic as I'm out of town for work travel.

I sent the Ford Accessory seat covers back (they were made by CoverCraft, I have a pic of them 2 or 3 posts above) and ordered a set of "Type S" brand seatcovers online. I had bought a pair of Type S seatcovers for my Tacoma years ago and they fit well and were like $50.

These already fit and look way better compared to the Ford Accessory (Coverking) ones I sent back and I still have one more of the elastic straps to hook up. These were $49 delivered for the pair from Type S.

I choose the Covercraft with grey inserts to lighten up the mostly black interior. They make the Carhartt labelled covers also.

Those look like nice covers, been looking at different ones, hard to choose without being dissatisfied like the OP was with his first set, but that's what returns are for. LOL

I think you meant to ask member Ibanezbass671 about his covers pictured above, i don't have those.
I went with Dash Design brand seat toppers and am satisfied with them, there discounted now too. This is an image from their website, i did get the same two tone black/grey color.

Those aren’t bad . Out of curiosity is your truck an extended cab and not a full 4-door ?
im having a horrible time finding covers for the back seat since its not a full bench. Have you looked into those with any luck?
