Aftermarket Tail lights?

Anyone know of some different tail lights or is there ones in the making? There is just a lot of red with them being so massive, I am considering a slight tint on them just to tone down all that red.

Subscribed. I'm interested in this, too. I have the same complaint. Too much red.

Some of the tailights on the Rangers from autobotautoworksoffroad on IG look pretty good, especially the fully smoked out rear tail lights with a modicum of red at the bottom. Would love to get my hands on a pair of those but I'm not sure they fit US specs.

No but people on here have. It’s a little hard with the shape but can be done.

You have to be careful with aftermarket lights you will loose your BLIS sensor. There is reason Ford LED tailights are $1100 a side.

lucky. I tried to import 2 different tail lights, and both did not fit. I wish we could get an aftermarket option.

Which ones did you try?

I was going to do the same thing & "import" a set from Asia...

Was it the connectors? Is there a way to cut-off our plug connector and hard-wire into the import connections?

Any pics?

I tried 2 different sets I found online. we have 3 problems, the first is the connector which like you said, I could work around by cutting off and soldering, but then problem 2, the top corner of our lights is straight across, the top corner of theirs are curved, and third there is no where to put the clips we need to make our light snap back in properly.

So Ford did "tweaks here & there" where we couldn't swap parts out with the international trucks =(

I really did want either the Wildtrak or Raptor version tail lights... loved the clear & smoked-out look... was even hoping the contoured lens by the tailgate would break the chop-line....
