Aftermarket Exhaust Tip

Hey guys,

I’m looking for an aftermarket exhaust tip for my “Blanger” (black Ranger). Something simple that will look good, but will also hold up and not discolor, rust, etc.
I’d prefer something in black to match my truck color. I have heard about some people just painting the stock tip black.
I’m not looking for something that will change the exhaust noise, just purely aesthetic. Something better looking than the stock exhaust tailpipe.

Any recs?

No complaints. I hit it with 303 every so often (will make Dave happy) and it looks fine. It is one of the less expensive options...so that is a plus if it doesn't work out for you.

It looks pretty sweet, but... there's a warning on the Amazon site that says "Frequently returned item, check the product details and customer reviews to learn more about this item."

I shop Amazon a lot and never saw that before. Seems the coating flakes off easily, and some people had trouble with the fitment. As always, caveat emptor.

I mean... The thing does sit immediately behind the tire.. so it takes a beating lol. My fancypants AFE powder coated tip was bare steel after just a few months.

Bought a similar from Amazon 3 years ago...powder coated stainless steel. Coating burned/flaked off after around 3-4 months, leaving the stainless.
It's a coated exhaust tip for cryin out loud....gets hot and crap all over it....you really think that coating is gonna last forever n ever ???????

Generally, anything that requires tools or mechanical ability is going to have a fair number of bad reviews.

Requires at least a basic knowledge of the difference between a screwdriver and a hammer, and the proper use of each !!!

Buyer beware. I've ordered 2 units so far. 1 from eBay the other from TEMU. The one I received from eBay was 2.5". My fault for not checking. Made sure the one from TEMU was 3". They sent me 2.5". Took a partial refund so I didn't have to return it.
