IMHO, raining sensing wipers are an answer to a question no one was asking.
I think it was the damn millennials LOL. Plus, nothing better than having them come on as you enter an automatic carwash and then having to fumblefuck around to shut them off before they get ripped off.

The first thing I disabled was the auto wipe. Why? Because what I was noticing was on the light rain type of day the auto wipe would bring the wipers up, wipe a time or two, and then park them, never turning my headlamps on. I prefer using the auto lamp feature all the time, so I am willing and able to turn the wipers on and set the delay timing as needed. Since our headlamps are tied into the wiper circuit, if I manually turn the wipers on the lights, both headlamps and tail lamps, which complies with the laws and also protects me as well as other drivers on the road. But that's just me. :)

I'll have something shortly... 3d Printed a cover, sits to the left of the mirror much like many Toyotas and is enabled via FORSCAN. The factory hole is cover by FRIT (The Black Ceramic Paint) and can not be removed, unless you want to replace your windshield at the same time.

Yon can enable/disable that feature with Forscan.
