I have a powered sub I took out of my F150 when I traded it in and would like to add it to my 2020 Ranger.
I had the amp with speaker level inputs connected to the rear speakers on that but when we added a sub to my son's Focus ST, we had to connect to the front speakers because the rear audio output frequencies didn't go down down low enough to be useful for the sub input.
A site search didn't produce any results - can I tap into the rear speaker wiring or will I need to grab the speaker input from the front speakers?
Thanks

Perfect, didn't know I could do that with ForScan.
Thanks

Get forscan turn on full signal to the rear and hook into the Rear
I plan on doing this as I am looking to replace the 6.5" door speakers and add a powered sub behind the seat to fill in the lack of bass. Will this change also gain any additional volume for the highs and mids coming from the door speakers? I've seen posts on forums and YT videos were people say that changing the EQ setting in Forscan "woke up" the factory system. Can anyone confirm if there is any truth to this? It does seem odd to me that maxing the volume at 30 with the junk OEM speakers doesn't get that loud and there doesn't seem to be any clipping.

Made the FORScan change today to flatten the EQ. In ACM, changed EQ setting from 1 to 0. This did net some more volume out of the all four door speakers. Rear speakers also seem to have full frequency range to them now. Definitely sounds better. It is also true that the chime volume is louder. Not annoyingly so, but louder nonetheless.
