I honestly had a bad feeling about ADD once I learned their "rock sliders" were really expensive cab mounted steps... can't say I'm surprised but still equally frustrating when they market those points on the bumper for recoveries. Hopefully they can make it right, but I wouldn't count on it as they've pretty much dropped the ranger to make stuff for the Bronco.
I doubt they will make it right with me since I wasn’t the one that bought it. And their warranty is only for 1 year what I read on their website. I’m still going to bring it to their attention since they are semi local to me.

Here’s a quick pic of it I took this morning. I’ll try to get some better stuff once I get home tomorrow

Holy shit that is a terrible design. I am not recovery expert, but I am pretty sure no connection points for recovery should be offset from a support point. The shackle or device can move side to side, but the hard point should be parallel shouldn't it?

Something something fulcrum something something bad day.

honestly digging into that company could save some folks from getting hurt. im not saying call them and be a jerk or lawyer up. but they need to a reality check before someone sues them. I dont know anything about the company but if they are marketing stuff like that as recovery ready its just flat dangerous. it is common to see people get stuck in mud and they get out a "strap" of some sort and go from the stuck to someone unstuck. then they have the unstuck mash the gas and try to pull them free. under stresses like that parts that are not up to the task can be deadly flying objects. a lot of folks that are new to off road or recovery simply are not aware of something that looks safe vs. not looking safe. so they are taking the product seller / makers descriptions of the products and trusting them.

I agree. The recovery that done this wasn’t a hard one and I definitely didn’t pull hard. Barely had any slack in the line and just bumped it to get the stuck tires out of the small hole they dug in. I could only imagine if I pulled harder that bumper wouldn’t be attached to the truck anymore. I’m not gonna be a jerk about it or anything but I am going to bring it to their attention.

Yea normally if you’ve got recovery points like a shackle mount they are welded to the main frame attach point. In this case that attach point is very weak to be used in the fashion these bumpers are advertised. Tomorrow once I get back home this bumper will be coming off so I can better inspect and try to fix it.

That is excessive for standard taillights. I have a tiny chip in the edge of mine. Filled it with clear epoxy to avoid the $800 charge for LED ones.

yea I don’t blame you. My Superduty I had had the led taillights and I know they were really expensive! You can’t tell too much this one is busted from afar but I’ll find one eventually
