Hi all,
I would like to know where the DC supply input to the AC inverter in the center console is located.

I’m looking to connect a ham radio to that point. Probably eliminate the inverter.

thanks in advance.

Thanks it looks like I’m going another route.
the fuse probably aint good enough, I blew mine within the first month, do it the right way and run a wire right to the battery for communications equipment, put your own inverter in too...

The inverter is rated at 150 watts. Assuming 100% efficiency that would translate into DC wiring that could handle about 12 amps. Now, if you’re running a 50-100 watt radio that may not get you by.

Also, the wiring in the cab may be susceptible to noise generated by all the electronic devices in there. Better to wire directly to the battery with wire heavy enough to carry the electrical load of your radio. I did that and I can tell you it’s a pain in the tail getting through the firewall.
