I need to see if it has an option to not turn down the A/C on a phone call. I noticed mine slows the fans down if I am on the phone. Screw them.. its 100+ here. They can listen to the fans whirring away in the background.

Also; mine does the delay as well. Thought the thing it does when you turn the key on is weird when I have it set to do the last thing it was told to do.....

Not a solution, but a workaround. If you click the temp down 1 or 2 degrees after the call is initiated and the fans have slowed down, they will speed back up. You can then put it back to your original temp and be fine for the rest of the call.

It's annoying when I use remote start to cool down my truck and the a/c cycles off (delays) when I place the key in the ignition switch to the run position.
Do you have the Remote Start settings set to Last Used?

I believe it delays to reduce the initial electrical load. When you roll the key on a lot of stuff needs to happen.
I think most modern vehicles attempt to regulate the air temperature before sending it into the cabin. Also, I think it is part of the system's self check process. I don't know either is correct but both make sense to me.

Thanks! Didn't think to try that at all.

no, not that. probably normal but thought id ask. when i get in my truck on these hot days and turn on the ignition, there is about a 7 or 8 second delay before the fan starts blowing air out the vents. not a huge deal but a little annoying when its 140 degrees inside. never had a vehicle that didnt blow air the second you started it up.
Press the Max button.

I will have to check. Regardless, the a/c system shuts off and reengages with a delay when the ignition switch is turned on whether remote started or key started.

Mine does the same, I don't know if it's 7 seconds but it seems like awhile. I'll have to time it sometime and report the results. And I don't have the dual zone auto climate control, just the old fashioned manual version.
And yes, I use the Ford Pass app too and it works properly about 80% of the time, I'd guess. FWIW it didn't work today when I was getting ready to leave work and it was about 90 F. Oh well. Other than the aforementioned delay, my truck does start blowing cold air fairly quickly. When the damn app works I let it run for about 2-3 minutes and it's pretty nice when I finally get in. I will only speak for myself but I feel spoiled even if the app only works 80% of the time because my last truck worked 0% of the time obviously because I didn't have the app or remote start on the fob. Even had to crank down the windows manually. So at this point I'll take it even if it's not too reliable but it does annoy me a little when it doesn't work.

Try the “scheduled start” on the app.
To be clear, when I have the ability to use scheduled start via the app, it has worked pretty darn well. Just using the app off the cuff to start has been kind of iffy for me.

Kinda depends. the Sync Connect runs on an AT&T4g (not to be confused with Sync 4G) cellular data signal. With regularly scheduled starts, the truck is usually parked in an area where there is good enough signal; at home or work. When using on demand starts from the app, the success rate depends on where you are in relation to the nearest tower carrying ATT data, which is different from their cellphone signal. I've been in the Minnesota Arrowhead and had no AT&T cellphone service, yet the app started the truck.
