Hi,

I have a 21 ranger and since i got it (used) ive noticed a low end rumble in the front above about 55+... you. an feel it in the floor boards and wheel. never really thought anything about it. a few weeks ago i installed the fox 2.0 leveling kit and new tie rods full. I noticed a increase in the rumble now. I just had a aligement done and wheel balance done but its still there. Wondering where i should look?

A few notes are that everything looks good not obvious issues ( Minus one which i will note)...

Things ive checked to start
Drive shaft is newer, its firm no play, bushing looks good, its maybe sitting a little closer to the bottom than center but thats it.
All front end bushing look good.

The only thing i could find was some play in what i think is the Pass Wheel bearing... If i grab the bottom of the wheel and push/pull i can get some movement but i dont hear any bad noises or anything coming from it. Guessing i should replace it? but i think this this is the issue...

Here are some photos of the CV's for reference. ii think everything looks fine? maybe a slight gab on the driver side inner boot like its not all the way in?

Any help would be amazing!!!

There are a few threads you might try searching through... i know because I've had similar. Rumble/shake at a particular speed. For me it was tire pressure too low.

Were the tires RoadForce balanced?

A bad wheel bearing often makes a growling sound. Yours might be bad.

$250 per wheel for a Road Force balance? Should be about that for all four, maybe even with an alignment.

Your profile says you’re in Vegas. Discount Tire has stores there. Bring it to them to have them Road Force balanced. If I remember correctly it was under $100 to do all four when I had mine done. You need to rule out a tire/wheel issue.

I am thinking I need to replace at least the drivers side because of the play.. but I’m not hearing any signs of it…
The rumble that you are hearing is a sign. Also it shouldn't have any play.

A bad wheel bearing will make noise at any speed and will change with vehicle speed (not transmission gears). Any rotating assembly noise will change as speed increases.
If you have play as mentioned, that could be sign of bad ball joints.
