The two-piece lug nut has been around since the 90's or before.
The fuel in oil is common on most direct injected engines.
As for the trans dip stick, they could have done like on older Fords.
Remove two plugs from the trans.
Pump fluid in one of the holes.
When it comes out the second hole, it's full.
That would have been easy on the Ranger due to its ground clearance.

The recall on the rear Scab headrests are to replace the non-folding with the folding rests. My 2021 came with the non-folding and were replaced under the recall. If yours came with folding, it won't affect you.
I believe the second part of your recall is about how the front seatbelts were attached...a small number weren't attached correctly at it's attachment point at the rear door.
Interesting that I did not get a recall for my rear headrests?? My 2020 has or had the non-folding head rests. I just removed them due to not really needing them anyway. I like the better view out the rear window without them. I should check into that though so when and if I ever put them back in!

You don't see the recall in your ford app? Maybe your VIN shows you have the folding head rests. What is the build date for your truck?

As much as I do hate the little things, like you've described, the key ring, the no engine cover on base models, etc etc. I often think about how manufacturers will do anything to save a buck. And how these trucks are built is a testament to that. But after a few years and 70,000km, its a nice truck and I've been happy with it for 90% of the time I've owned it.

Have not received the survey and if I do, probably won't bother filling it out. Im sure it just goes into a database where your info is stored and subsequently sold to someone or something for profit, not to be read by a single soul or person alive.

The build date I believe is 05/20? that is the date on the tag on my driver door. 2020 SCAB Lariat

My build is 10/2020. My headrests are technically not folding, but I was able to do the 'dowel rod mod' to them to make them fold, so mine is between the folding rests and non-folding rest.

So, my guess is that your truck has folding rests. But, just take a peek at them and if you see a little button on the right side of the head rests, then they are folding.

Ah, thanks for that info. My headrests fold, AFTER I did the hack (add a piece of dowel). I didn't go all the way to add the button, I just have to slide my finger along the outside of the rest until I feel the dowel. If I get the official folding ones, then OK, I'll accept that :)

My seatbelt is correct, I checked it.
Did the same "dowel mod" as you, before reading that the recall fixed the problem.

Pulled the original headrests out, took it in for the recall, and received proper folding headrests with an OEM button! So now I have 2 spare headrests lol. Build date on mine is 6/2020.

I entered my March/2020 built Lariat VIN # in the NHTSA site and got no results/recalls. My headrests have no button to fold but I did the dowel mod.

I'm guessing these surveys are going out to owners of new vehicles. I bought mine with 4,700 miles on it when it was a year old. No surveys yet.
