Hello,
So I’ve owned my 2025 Raptor for about 3 weeks now and I really enjoy it! The biggest or best thing I’ve noticed is the 10R60 transmission, it is incredibly smooth! Of course I already have a tune in it from Torrie at Unleashed and it really goes like hell! The interior refinements are nice, seats are very comfortable and in my opinion it rides better than my 19 Lariat. Already added mudflaps, better floor mats, grill lights, front window tint (not in attached pics)and upgraded the fog lights to Diode Dynamics.
I got a great deal on it as it was used with 1600 miles on it. I actually talked to the original owner, older gentleman, whose wife just didn’t like it and they bought a Tahoe.

The only thing I tow is a kayak and occasionally a quad. In the bed, mulch once a year are the only real heavy things.

Nice looking truck. Tractor forum I'm on tells me my 19 Lariat isn't a real truck, for a variety of reasons. Some also say I'm a mall crawler because it's my daily driver (retired) and I'm not using it for real trucky things all the time. Like you, I don't use it at it's max capabilities, but when I use for trucky things, it does the job. Love that color.

Awesome looking truck, the only 6G I would want. Looks like you lucked out with the previous owner.

Only 6G I would consider, great color too!!
Yeah if money was no thing, It would be hard to not just go get a RR. Since my two boys play youth hockey, I don't plan on upgrading any time soon

Oh man, I don't even know how travel parents do it. Regular hockey with fees is over $2k/year plus gear they out grow. Plus one is a goalie so his pads will be getting expensive this next size up.

Travel kids, at least in Vegas are in the +$10k/year just to be on the team. One of the dads on our team was talking to another dad and said they spend $50k a year on their kids travel team and private coaching.

So yeah, no travel for our kids lol

Wow that has got really expensive since I played. I started playing at 6 all the way through high school and played in several summer leagues too. Our town team use to travel up the Montreal and then the next year they'd come down and we'd stay with the kids on the team which saved money. We made one trip to Philly to play with the Jr Flyers one year and id the same thing there. I don't remember the costs (I do remember sticks being like $10-$12 though) but I remember having to get most of my gear new just about every year from outgrowing it up until my teens where it was every 2-3 years. I'm sure the ice time is one of the biggest expenses now with the cost of electricity, insurance and maintenance now.

PS, you should've got them into tennis or golf. lol
