Hi, I have a 2022 Tremor on the way and have been reading so much in this forum the past week that I am a bit more confused now then I was. I understand everyone has their opinions and I respect that. I hope I have this right but please let me know if I am off base.

If I add these three components, then I should have no rubbing if I mount 285/70/17 tires on the stock 17" Tremor wheels.

2019-2020 Ford Ranger BORA 6x139.7mm 1.25" Wheel Spacers (Set of Four) BORA-19RANGER1.25X4
2019-2022 Ford Ranger 4WD ReadyLift 3" Front Strut Extension Leveling Kit 66-2930
2019-2022 Ford Ranger ReadyLift High-Clearance Anti-Intrusion Beams

I do not plan to do any serious off roading and very little towing if any. This is more for the level and lifted look.

Thanks
Don

If thays the case I would not bother with a lift or levelong kit on the truck. Why you ask? Well to my understanding the Tremor already has better ride quality compared to other factory Rangers. How you ask? Simple you have fox shocks to start. If you end up doing any kind of spacer lift you will run into the possibility of compromising ride quality to start. Also wheel spacers are best to be left alone. If not installed correctly you have the high risk of wheels falling off(not something I'm comfortable with on any vehicle both new and old).

Now you might be wondering what I have right? I have a 2019 4x4 sport XLT. It is lifted with Old Man EMU and has 285/70-17 Firestone Destination XT's on factory sport wheels and no spacers(yep you heard that right). Is it possible for you to run that setup? I do not belive so entirely. The wheels wouldnt be an issue but if I understand correctly the front suspension was changed just enough in a way that that not may aftermarket shocks will fit the Tremor(someone might beable to confirm this). What do I do with my truck? Well it is a daily but I also take it on the trail quite a bit and it does well. Can the Tremor do well in stock confirmation? Absolutely. Due to having a locker you may be able to go further than me in the OffRoad but it sounds like you wont be pushing it in that manor.

My suggestion again is just leave it as it is. Especially since you have yet to drive it you need to wait and see how it handles. The worst thing you can do is make changes without knowing if its for better or for worse.

And for fun here arw a feq pictures of my truck

Running a 3” spacer on the front of the tremor will cause the truck to be nose high. Those on the forum who installed fordrangerlifts 2” tremor spacer have measured their front to be about 0.25” lower than the rear.

Adding a 3” lift spacer to the front of a tremor would ruin the ride IMO. The factory tremor rides great. If you absolutely want to raise the front, look into a set of shocks like fox 2.5’s that will get you the lift you’re looking for.

You may not need a lift to clear the 285s, I can’t comment on that. Some tires may require a wheel spacer (as others have said I’d stay away from them) and you’ll have to remove the crash bars

Just want to add on the crash bar thing. Depending on tires and setup crash bars may not need to be messed with. If you look at mine I simply have the plastic cover removed and the bars pushed forward. Nice and easy in my opinion

We agree with avoiding adding a spacer to the tremors stock set up.

The Tremor line uses the fox 2.0 system. However the biggest difference in the tremor fox 2.0 compared to the standard fox 2.0 is that the front coils are not adjustable on the tremor set up; where as the standard 2.0 system is. We have heard (but cannot confirm) that adding spacers to the tremors current suspension takes away the great ride the tremor provides. Which is unfortunate. A lot of folks that have had a tremor just ended up swapping the suspension completely or not touching it at all.

In regards to fitment on wheels and tires, we can confirm that 285/70/17s can work with swapping the crash bars or removing them, and with a leveled lift up front. With your Tremors wheels, the spacers should also work but we cannot confirm on the stock height. We have read/heard from many that it works, but we have not personally tested that out.

We swapped the wheels on our Ranger and when we tried adding spacers we actually rubbed horrendously. So we removed the spacers and left the wheels and tires as is. But we have a +25 offset with our wheels which is smaller than the OEM wheels.
