Dammit, I forgot to ask. I mean they know the truck and rim size. It comes with the new studs pressed in. I would think that'd be enough. No?
You sure the spacers come with new studs? Don't think I've seen any 1/4" spacers with studs as then you'd run into the issue of your factory studs poking through and hitting your rim.

Wait...you're right. That small they don't. Ffs! Here we go again.

No, 1/4" spacers are just a spacer plate. They aren't bolt-ons that have studs. The 1/4" plate is not thick enough to hold the studs and the O.E. wheel would not clear the lug nuts that would fasten it. I think 1" are the thinnest bolt on spacers available.

Do you know if a 1/4" spacer would call for new studs?

What size spacer would I need if I DID buy new rims that were -19mm. To keep them flush..ish with the fender? 2"?

That's just it. I don't know for sure. Like I said earlier, there are some guys here who are running them. However, no one that I know of has actually confirmed that the entire lug nut engages with all its threads. It would require doing some measuring. I plan on doing this when I get the time.

Well here's the set up with just bigger tires. They stick out almost 3 inches!
That's just too far!

Our stock wheels are a +55mm offset. That means the center of the wheel sits 55mm (2.16") inboard from where it bolts up. A -19mm wheel means that the center of the wheel sits 19mm (.75") outboard from where it bolts up. This means that the new wheel would stick out over 2.75" from where the stock wheel is right now.

The way go, looks like for me, is with 275's and the problem is solved. 3" would mean fender flares. Not gonna do that.

Just keep in mind that the only tires available in that size are load range E. They are heavier and some here have complained about the mileage hit and ride. Others, didn't mind. I'm not trying to rain on your parade - really! :) It's just that I've read so many posts here about people who jumped into buying a certain tire size or wheel and then regretted it later when they didn't gather all the information they needed.

If it's the height you want, an LT255/75R17/c K02 is the same height as the 275, but 1/2" narrower. It's also 9 lbs. lighter.

The serious off road people tend to gravitate towards the load range E tires for a variety of reasons. Maybe they would be good fit for you?

Think there's a couple in C. I know falken wildpeaks come in 275/70r17 as I've ordered some.

Yeah, that's right. I forgot about that one! I think it's ever so slightly taller as well. However, it's 2 lbs. heavier than the load range E BFG KO2's.

I was gonna go with the Duratracs cuz they came in D ratings. But not after reading a zillion reviews. I was leaning away from the E's but after seeing how bad I'm tearing up the sidewalls off roading, I think I will go with them. But I'll find somewhere I can return them if not satisfied. Think I saw a 60 day sats grntee on the BFGs. And I was gonna get the Livernois tune to make up for the heavier tire.
I'm just sick to death about thinking about it anymore.
