Hi Folks,

Tried to install the Sync 3 map updates....did not use the idle the engine for an hour, but tired to hook up my battery tender, but the darn thing timed out and aborted the install. I refuse to idle my motor for an hour...Screw the update...I will use my android phone...Sync sucks in my opinion with all the crap you have to go through to do some simple updates that should only required 5 or so minutes. This system really need to come into the 21st century... I do not drive anywhere in Az that I could run the motor for over an hour. Come on Ford...Get this darn system fixed as when it was piloted under Derek Kuzak, it was not ready for prime time...and it is still there...needs real work to get it right.

I have done updates on other Ford vehicles I've owned, and it usually doesn't take anywhere near an hour to complete. I do, however, agree with you. Ford needs to get into the 21st century on this.

Don't give up too soon, Phil. I started my update with the truck running...After half an hour I drove the truck for about 20 minutes when the update finished. The only thing I notice is a faster screen input. Other than that I guess I also got updated NAV.

Got these Bushwacker fender flares on Black Friday (part # 20955-02) and had them installed when I brought my truck to get the level kit re-torqued and I am very happy with how they came out!

What are the specs on your lift, wheels and tires? Offset? I think that is the perfect look and what I'm looking for.

Put on the tailgate liner. https://accessories.ford.com/bed-products/liners-and-mats/liner-load-compartment-12248.html. Very easy and I like it. Using a DeeZee bed mat and DeeZee damper. All covered by a factory, soft, tri-fold tonneau cover. Pleased.

Installed a front cam. I bought an Aukey cam pretty cheap but it does a great job. I ran from the 12V power socket and up the side pillar, under the headliner. Not permanent but the cable is out of the way and mostly unseen. This should capture everything.

This is the one I bought. (IF I like it, I may order a front and rear one). and Hardwire it to a 12V source in the upper console.
