The back-up assist works pretty well on my 6G. My biggest complaint is that it won't let me back the trailer as sharp as I want to sometimes. Like if I'm backing 90 degrees into my drive way, I have to cut out farther into the other lane than I'm used to to get the trailer to make the turn. If I know that in advance, it's great and the system makes keeping the trailer straight much easier once I've made the turn. Especially since I usually tow a 5.5' wide by 8 long trailer that I cannot see out of any of my mirrors.
Get some short poles with flags to mark the end of the trailer, makes it easier with a short trailer.

I have been looking over options, and even spoke to a dealer about the 6G.
The XLT Standard package comes with Ford Co-Pilot 360 as a standard option, no charge:

But if you add the Advanced Tow Package, it removes Co-Pilot 360 and all its features:

Isn't that weird? I asked a dealer about it, and he seems to think they want you to buy the Advance Tow Pack Plus Technolgy Pack for $2305.

My conclusion, I'd rather stick with the Co-Pilot 360, rather than get the TBC and lose features. I can always add an aftermarket TBC later.
