Moving this away from the "class action" thread.
A lot of us seem to have this issue, and Ford doesn't seem to be the answer.
My truck is 3/4 in high on the passenger side rear with my tank 3/4 full.
Not a good luck.

Has someone ordered the part(# JB3Z5598B} and installed 1 or more?

First make sure you a lead have a spacer on the drivers(left) side. If it's there you are fine. Take measurement with a full and empty tank. Also 3/4 inch will not cause you any issues. Even with the Old Man EMU lift my Ranger did the same thing. Better yet maybe a little more due to being a softer spring in the rear.

Take a look at your springs first.

Should be a + on drivers side and a - on passengers side.

Those are not "bed shims."

They're leaf spring shims.

Thanks for the replies.
My truck has 2 spacers on the drivers side and 1 on the passenger side.
+ on the drivers side and -- on the passenger side.
So, if I remove the one on the passengers side and add it to the drivers side ...
Stacking 3/4" of spacer seems like a lot.

Probably just live with it. But it just looks wrong.

D Fresh, correction noted. leaf spring spacer
Thanks Dan

You could try just removing the passenger side. I'd start there and see what it looks like.

Correction, it has one spacer on the drivers side and none on the passenger side. The leaf springs have 2 leafs in each pack. The spacer is not part of said leaf pack.

Ford marks their springs. All are within spec.

+ means it's on the taller side of spec

- means it's on the shorter side of spec

I'm not sure that Ford's manufacturing process dictates plus on the drivers and - on the passengers sides. But common sense tells me that's the way it should be.

When I replaced my factory springs I had 2 + springs. The global progressive multileafs I swapped in came with a + and a -, I installed as we've discussed with no shims and am within ⅛" of level.

I chalk it up to the overpaid union schlubs that build our trucks being just intelligent enough to fog a mirror.

Just reread. Did you say "+-" on each spring. That's weird.

I get that. As I said in my post, my slings have both a + and a - on each. Seems to break the rule, hence confusion.

Yeah, I'm confused too.

Not sure what both mean.

I just went out and checked again. I see a + on the rear of the springs, on both sides. My mistake before.
Also, it looks like the bottom of the leaf spring looks like a block, but isn't. If that is the case, mine just has a single spacer on the drivers side.
Sorry about the confusion.

That was my situation as delivered except I was shimmed on both sides.

Perhaps you could keep your eye out for factory take-offs to find a spring marked -?

Between that and another shim on the drivers side you should get pretty close.
