While I (im)patiently wait for my truck to arrive in the UK, I am gathering ideas for my build.

WARNING: This will be a slow burn. I’m a certified nerd yet intend on doing this myself.

so far I’ve ordered a cheap roll upbed cover (it rains a lot in the UK), and the all important tailgate damper. I’ll be using this thread to save ideas I pick up here and for the inevitable constructive criticism on my choices.

Pics will be taken at each step to include my mistakes.

I dont understand? thats a factory thing it comes standard on all rangers that I thought?
I have a 2021 XLT FX4

@Grandaccess maybe, but my order form doesn’t state it on the 2023 XL

I am pretty sure it’s optional extra on UK Rangers of all trims

Congrats, black is definitely the best colour!

Power locking tailgate is one of my favorite little upgrades over my last truck. It's open when I need it, and (semi)secure when I leave it unattended. Great convenience. without having to deal with keys, or remobember to lock/unlock it.
