2021 backup camera

Hi , I just purchased a 2021 Xl crewcab 4 x 4 ......when I put the truck in reverse my backup video displays in the rear view mirror instead of the 4.2" radio display ? Is this normal for a 2021 or do I need to change a setting to get it to display in the radio display instead possibly ? Or am I stuck with the tiny video in the mirror ?

Mind sharing a picture of your radio? All the XL I've seen had it on the radio display. Including 2021's.

EDIT: Seems like there are a couple different radios on the XL. A base radio with 100A package, Sync 3.2" with 101A and STX special edition with sync 3.
I'm guessing you have the 100A radio and it's not capable of displaying video.

Edit2: I looked up the 100A radio and it's definitely not capable of displaying video. It looks like a calculator LCD. Why does Ford even offer that in 2021? How are they cutting cost by having to add a second display in the mirror?

Thanks CFH...yes I just dug out my window sticker and it says equip group 100A just like you said ....great description Calculator LCD from the early 90's - worst radio ever in a new truck for me I have ever purchased lol....my 2015 Scion XB even had a better radio than this . Its the one in your picture you posted. Thanks at least I know now I am not crazy . I will start researching aftermarket head units I guess to bring the truck into the 2020's lol....

They must of had leftover units from when they built the base model Ford Focus in 2012 because that’s exactly what they were!

Yes...my truck didnt even come with remotes or cruise control ...... on my window sticker the only option I have is Electronic-Locking Diff for $420 .
